MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 26 mm, 12.27 g, 11 h), circa 88-85. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; between the snake heads, ΑΡ above monogram of ΠPY; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, serpent-entwined staff. Kleiner 27. Pinder 104. SNG Paris 1729. Flan faults on the obverse and with some cleaning scratches, otherwise, very fine.
